Britain rises to third in World Equestrian Games medal table

  • Britain’s team triumph in the eventing at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games has lifted it from fifth to third in the medal table.

Six nations have now claimed at least one gold, but Britain’s proliferation of silver medals — three in dressage and an individual eventing one for William Fox-Pitt — means it sits in the medal table above the other nations with one gold, the UAE, Germany and Spain.
