Barbury Castle Horse Trials supports local children

  • Barbury Castle International Horse Trials (6-8 July) is hoping to raise thousands of pounds for children suffering from poverty, abuse, illness and disability in Wiltshire. Tickets for the Wiltshire-based CIC three-star event are now on sale, and £1 of every ticket purchased will be donated to local children and young people’s charity GWR Kids.

The event, which also features novice classes, was voted top event in 2005 and 2006 by the Event Horse Owners Association. It promises to be even better this year with Pony Racing, a fairground and laser clay shooting lined up for spectators. Other entertainments will include a climbing wall, surf simulator and open dog agility competition.

Advance bookings can be made online at www.barburyhorsetrials.co.uk or by calling the Barbury Box Office (tel: 01793 877212).
