Assistant sought for eventing performance manager Yogi Breisner

  • The British Equestrian Federation (BEF) has confirmed that Yogi Breisner will stay on as eventing performance manger until Rio 2016.

But it is recruiting an assistant to support him in the role.

Will Connell, BEF performance director, told H&H: “Yogi remains very much in overall control, but this is about bringing someone in to free up certain areas of his responsibility.

“We want him to spend more time on the ground with the riders.”

The successful applicant will assist with the management of the senior team, run the Equine Pathway for potential world-class horses and act as chef d’equipe at the FEI’s new CICO “Nations Cup” competitions.
