Aldon one-day event


  • Paul Tapner was first with Inonothing and third on Tiger Flynne in the strong advanced intermediate class at the Church-House sponsored Aldon spring fixture. Julie Tew and Sir Roselier finished second.

    Hannah Bucknell and Woodlands Talisman took victory in the under-21 open intermediate for the second year running. Second place went to Zoe Carmichael riding Just a Playboy, with Emily Llewellyn on her mother Cindy’s Pardon Me II in third.

    Selina Elliot and Bodidily grabbed victory from Nick Gauntlett with Calibre with one of the final rounds in open intermediate section Q. Francis Whittington on Spin Doctor finished in third spot.

    Rodney Powell had a one-two in open intermediate section R with Zinzin II and Langarth Darcy. Louise Skelton finished third with Partly Pickled.

    Young Daniel Sibley won the first of the two intermediate sections with Tarmac Adam. Nick Gauntlett took intermediate section P on Woodside Alcatraz.
