Team members Anne Dunham, Kay Gebbie, Lee Pearson and Nicola Tustain were delighted to capture team gold riding horses which were borrowed just one week before the competition.
Success in the various grades of kr (music) competition saw Pearson,Tustain and Gebbie claim their second golds, while Pearson achieved a hat-trick in his first Paralympic Games when he added Grade I individual gold to his tally.
Tustain and Gebbie brought home individual bronze medals, while Anne Dunham, Dianne Tubbs, Debbie Criddle and Jo Jackson all narrowly missed the medals in their competitions.
Chef d¨equipe, Anne Cutcliffe said: “We are all thrilled ¨ it is fantastic, but we are coming home with lots to do. The world has made giant strides since Atlanta, competition is fierce and the level of riding is amazing.”
