Olympic eventing dressage coach Tracie Robinson banned for drink driving

  • British eventing team dressage coach Tracie Robinson has been banned from driving for two years after admitting driving when she was almost three times the drink-drive limit.

The 52-year-old appeared at Leicester Magistrates Court on Wednesday (27 February).

She admitted driving her sponsored Land Rover Discovery into the fence of a fire station in Lutterworth at around 11pm on 22 January.

Ms Robinson then swerved and mounted the pavement as she drove to her home in Peatling Parva.

When she was breathlysed by police she had 92 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood — the limit is 35.
