New look to German dressage team at London 2012

  • The German dressage team for the London 2012 Olympic Games has a fresh new look, after multi-Olympic gold medal winner Isabell Werth did not make the squad.

The team, who will all be making their Olympic debuts, will be:

    • Helen Langehanenberg riding Damon Hill
    • Kristina Sprehe riding Desperados
    • Dorothee Schneider riding Diva Royal

The German individual will be Anabel Balkenhol with Dablino.

The first travelling reserve is Monica Theodorescu on Whisper with Fabienne Lutkemeier and D’Agostino as second reserve.

It is understood that Isabell Werth declined the position of first reserve with Don Johnson.
