Maria Eilberg wins at Addington Manor Premier League dressage


  • Maria Eilberg and Two Sox finished double winners at Addington Manor Premier League, scoring 69.02% at grand prix and 70.2% in the special.

    Carol Parsons was twice runner-up on her Shire/Thoroughbred Giddy, whose expressive trot work and piaffe-passage tour earned her two plus-68% scores.

    Henriette Andersen and Paula Potter’s Louis D’Or headed the intermediaire II. Gareth Hughes won at prix st georges (PSG) on Sandman, ahead of Spencer Wilton and Peta Claridge’s Balzer, who became small tour champions.

    Richard Barrett and Blakes Dollar, took Friday’s intermediaire I on 68.75%, while Jacky Stolper and Der Schufro scored two wins in the five-year-old classes.

    Anne-Marie Perry and Forrest Fire proved their consistency by taking all three classes they entered — a PSG, plus the young rider team and individual tests — on their way to becoming young rider tour champion.

    Melissa Beer and Celestial King took the junior tour honours, while Alex won the pony tour on Devito.
