” Voice of dressage” Mike West died on 6 March. He had suffered from bone marrow cancer for the past five years.
Mike, who was 67, was one of the sport’s leading commentators.
He was heard at CDIs at Hickstead, Fry’s, Sheepgate and Soley Farm, as well as numerous other shows.
British Dressage chief executive Amanda Bond said: “Mike worked at countless top shows so if you weren’t lucky enough to meet him you will certainly have heard him.
“His distinctive voice and in-depth knowledge of all things dressage brought a great professionalism to many of our shows.”
