Date set for British Dressage marking changes

  • Half marks are to be used by judges in British Dressage across all levels, from 1 December 2013.

The scoring system was used in 2012 for national and international FEI classes and it will now be extended to cover all levels.

Last year, H&H reported that riders and judges largely welcomed the idea of bringing half marks to the sport, suggesting that the move would “widen the range” of scores and bring it into line with international standards.
