Comfort Zone Para Winter Championships


  • Natasha Baker and Waldminor won the grade I and II championship, as well as the music, at the Comfort Zone Para Winter Championships at Vale View, Leicestershire.

    Dual winners were the order of the second day, with Sophie Wells riding Muzeik— grade IV — and Sophie Christiansen on Martini Maybe in grade I, winning both the championship test and the music.

    Reigning national champion Toby Pawson warmed up for his grade III win by snapping up the novice qualifier on Oyster II. In the music, Daniel Manning triumphed riding Party Time Too.

    New Para rider Amanda Say won the restricted grade I class on Gingerfield Jake. Alice Franklin and Hennessay won the restricted grade IV.

    Alex Sutton, 14, won the grade II riding South Bucks RDA’s Forester. South Bucks’s second winner came courtesy of Ben Rodin, riding Lambrusco II.
