Britain increases lead at top of World Equestrian Games medal table

  • An all-British medal podium in the grade Ia paradressage freestyle today has strengthened Britain’s lead in the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games medal table.

Britain now has six golds — one for eventing and five for paradressage — while current runner-up the Netherlands has four.

Britain can confidently expect more golds in the other paradressage grades. Joanne Eccles also currently holds the lead in the female individual vaulting, which concludes tomorrow.
