Becky Moody was the star of the North East Winter Regionals at Willerby Hill, in East Yorkshire (31 January-3 February) with three wins to her credit (Fursten Hit: Blue Chip Novice Open and Imenex Elementary Open; Wallenstein: British Horse Feeds Advanced Medium).
Emma Gallagher took the Biotal Equine Gold Medium Restricted on her own Andy Lykkgaard, while Hannah Esberger-Shepherd and Divine won the Kieffer Medium Freestyle and picked up the Baileys Novice Freestyle on Dolce Vita IV.
Beverley Brightman scored a double with Don Hill, winning the Biotal Equine Gold Medium Open and the Nupafeed Advanced Medium Freestyle. Teviot Elementary Restricted winner, Jayne Wilson, went on to pick up winter championships qualifying tickets in the novice and elementary freestyles with Wallentino.
Laura Fry qualified for the elementary and medium freestyles and won the Imenex Elementary on her own Grane Amazon. Beth Logan, 15, and Up The Creek took Thursday’s Elevator Prelim Championship, while the Blue Chip Novice Restricted went to Laura Newton and Dalton Raimondo.
