There are numerous sport horse stallions currently standing in Britain and many have been graded with overseas studbooks before being imported. As there is no register of these stallions, we are unable to list them. But all the following sires have reached the top approval level with their respective British studbooks, which have provided the details.
Some overseas studbooks such as Trakehners, Dutch Warmbloods and Selle Francais are also in the process of establishing branches in the UK and have already held stallion gradings here. However, as yet, none of the new branches is a World Breeding Federation member, so their British-based stallions are not included on this list.
