It’s a big day for native ponies on Monday (22 December), with 40 of them due to vie for the title of Blue Chip Native BSPS Heritage Supreme Champion at Olympia, the London International Horse Show.
Four judges will assess the line-up of 11 native breeds — Dartmoor, Exmoor, Welsh sections A, B, C and D, Connemara, New Forest, Fell, Dales and Highland. Following preliminary judging in the morning at 10am, shortlisted ponies will return to arena for the final in the afternoon.
