Silverstream is RIHS supreme hunter

  • After a morning of intense hunter classes, the judges selected Carol Bardo’s Silversteam II as Patey Hats Surpeme Hunter Champion. The reserve prize was awarded to Finn McCool II from the lightweight section.

With his striking dapple grey colouring, five-year-old Silverstream II stood out as he galloped around the arena in front of the judges. He was also a winner at last year’s Dublin Horse Show.

John Dunlop’s Finn McCool II has also won numerous accolades, not least the champion hunter crown at this year’s Royal Windsor Horse Show. The six-year-old bay gelding is by Supreme Edge and was bred by Mrs P Troughton.

Silverstream II and rider Jayne Webber were accompanied by the local hunt as they galloped around the arena on their lap of honour.
