Pippa and William Funnell were star guests at the British Horse Society Scotland’s 40th anniversary celebrations. The party took place at Gleneagles Equestrian Centre, Auchterarder with a master class followed by bagpipes and porridge.
Almost a thousand people watched the Masterclass. Pippa and William demonstrated how they choose and train horses and help riders – and gave insight into their philosophy and approach to their disciplines.
BHS Scotland Development Officer Helene Mauchlen said: “We cannot thank Pippa and William enough for being so accommodating and willing to turn their hands to anything – it was an amazing 48 hours”.
The Funnells also rejoined the BHS at the event and urged non-members in the audience to follow suit. “The BHS works for all horses and riders whatever their level of enjoyment of the sport. We would all be worse off without an organisation to campaign for safer roads to ride on, off-road riding and raised standards of horsemanship,” said Pippa.
