The British Equestrian Federation (BEF) has introduced a new initiative to help companies of all sizes get involved with supporting the World Class Start and Potential programme, which is designed to help riders with Olympic potential fulfill their early promise.
“Supporters of World Class Equestrian” is designed to encourage companies to support Britain’s young riders who have the talent and dedication to ride and win at Olympic level in dressage, show jumping, eventing or paralympic dressage, through offering products, services or discounts.
Vikki Kind, World Class Start and Potential manager, explains: “The concept of Supporters of World Class Equestrian is to enable small or large companies to be involved with some of the most talented and dedicated young riders in Britain.”
Companies that are already involved include official suppliers to the British Olympic Equestrian Team Natural Animal Feeds (NAF) and Spillers, which have extend their support to the World Class Start and Potential programme.
Supporters of World Class Equestrian has also attracted a number of other equestrian companies including Frogpool Manor, Woof Wear, easibed, Fort Dodge Animal Health, Brickwood Arena Mirrors, Lansdown Action Rugs and Simply Rugs.
Kind adds: “With the fantastic support and backing already shown from companies such as these, this clearly demonstrates the industry-wide belief in the World Class Start & Potential programme.”
David Dyer, managing director of Frogpool Manor says: “We are delighted to be a Supporter of World Class Equestrian, as I feel it is important to help talented and dedicated young riders who are working towards representing Britain at Olympic level.”
