New eventing partnerships

  • The new eventing season is starting to rev up a few gears, with several advanced horses swapping riders.

Polly Stockton has taken on Chris King’s former ride Sir Lancelot VI, but Chris will be kept busy with Miss De Meena IV, from Lucinda Green, and Brer Rabbit II, formerly with Leslie Law.

Leslie has already notched up a win with Katie Burton (neé Parker)’s Fulham Fair, and Zara Phillips has a new advanced ride, the experienced campaigner Springleaze Macaroo, who was most recently ridden by William Fox-Pitt.

Other high profile moves include What A Performance from Chris Hunnable to Piggy French; Mallards Treat from Andrew Nicholson to Matthew Wright, and Call Again Cavalier (Vicky Brake) to Caroline Pratt.
