The supermarket chain Aldi is launching a winter equestrian range whiin stores on 26 October for two weeks or while stocks last.
The range include training jackets (£19.99), riding fleeces (£6.99), hi-vis reversible gilet’s (£14.99), winter jodhpurs and multi-purpose boots (£12.99) for both women and children.
Aldi moved into the equestrian market for the first time this summer (as reported in H&H, 7 August).
Established equestrian retailers told H&H at the time they did not view the move as a threat.
The debut Aldi summer equestrian range when it first went on sale on 17 July “did brilliantly” said the company’s PR spokesman.
Equestrian clothing comes under the textiles range of the special buys in stores. This also include back to school children’s clothes and Halloween outfits.
