WEG reining: Jessica Sternberg talks to H&H [VIDEO]

  • Horse & Hound’s reporter Storm Johnson caught up with 24-year-old Jessica Sternberg, niece of British team regulars Doug Allen and Francesca Sternberg, after the second individual qualifying round of the reining competition.

Jessica had planned to compete with Shiners Chic at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG), but unfortunately he was ruled out by an injury, so instead she is riding her Aunt’s experienced campaigner Smart Like Valentino. Jessica explains why WEG is so important to her personally and to the sport of reining as a whole.
