Hugh Thomas to chair eventing board

    • Badminton’s event director Hugh Thomas will be chairman of the board of British Eventing (BE) until the end of 2014.

    Past chair Amanda Ratcliffe stood down in March during the final year of her term due to external commitments.

    As well as his Badminton duties, Hugh has previously been chairman of the British Equestrian Federation and chairman of the FEI eventing committee.

    Hugh said: “I look forward to working with the board and the first-class staff that BE now has in place.”
