Chief executive to leave British Dressage

  • British Dressage (BD) chief executive Amanda Bond is leaving the organisation to join the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

She will move there in June and will be the executive manager of equestrian affairs, overseeing equestrian sport (outside racing).

Ms Bond has been at BD since 2008.

“Amanda’s departure will be a huge loss to both the company and the sport of dressage and para dressage in Great Britain,” said BD chairman Penny Pollard.

“In her time as chief executive, she has shaped and moulded us into a more professional company and has never been daunted by the task.”

Recruitment for a replacement is under way.
