Researchers at the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine are calling on horse owners to take part in a survey to investigate how lameness affects the country’s equines, and how it impacts upon their owners’ pockets and participation in sport.
The survey, which takes 10-15min to complete, is part of a Masters project supported by The Horse Trust and World Horse Welfare.
It aims to determine the annual prevalence of lameness and the number of days wasted for one horse in a 12-month period.
