Members of the British Endurance Riding Association (BERA) strongly supported moves to form a single governing organisation to run the sport. Endurance GB received a massive vote in its favour at BERA’s annual conference.
More than 140 riders attended what will almost certainly be the last such BERA gathering which was held near Barnsley, Yorks.
Stephen Bennett, who presented the association’s PR report on Sunday, said riders had indicated they wanted a swift resolution to negotiations following last month’s referendum.
“There was a 100% show of hands for this and the mood was very upbeat. We are urging the council of the EHPS to push forward for a positive outcome as swiftly as possible.”
