Training the trainers


  • Don’t miss the BHS World Class Jubilee Trainers and Coaches Seminar which boasts top names from a range of disciplines

    Tickets are still available for the British Horse Society’s two-day World Class Jubilee Trainers and Coaches Seminar on 24-25 November at Warwickshire College, Moreton Morrell.

    Speakers will include British show jumper Geoff Billington (pictured), international dressage judge Christoph Hess, top event trainer Chris Bartle, leading dressage rider/trainer Jennie Loriston-Clarke and sports psychologist Joce Brookes.

    Each of the speakers will discuss aspects of training and judging the horse and rider on the flat and over fences with help from international standard dressage, show jumping and eventing “guinea pigs” during the two days.

    “The seminar will be a unique opportunity for instructors, competitors and equestrian enthusiasts alike to learn from a variety of top trainers and coaches,” said a BHS spokesperson.

    The action will begin at 2.00pm on Sunday 24 November and 9.30am on Monday 25 November.

    Tickets will cost:

    • 24 November- excluding refreshments £5
    • 24 November- including refreshments £10
    • 25 November- excluding refreshments £8
    • 25 November- including refreshments £20
    • 24 and 25 November – including refreshments except dinner £30
    • 24 and 25 November – including all refreshments and dinner £47
