Young event rider Emily King is planning her riding career after scoring highly in her GCSEs.
“I got four As and four Bs,” Emily told H&H.
“I don’t really know how – I think they must have been mixed up with someone else’s! The plan is now to finish the competition season, then a friend and I are going out to Malm ¶ [Sweden] to work and train over the winter in a showjumping yard.”
Emily, daughter of London Olympic team silver medallist Mary, will spearhead the six-strong British squad for the junior European Championship (Poland, 6-9 September).
