Saracen Horse Feeds has designed a new feed for the “leisure market”.
Livery Mix is specially for horses and ponies who are in light work or resting. It is also aimed at native types and good doers as it is high-fibre, low-calorie feed.
“This oat-free feed won’t ‘hot’ your horse up, and its high-fibre content helps to keep the gut working efficiently,” said a spokesman for Saracen. “Carefully balanced to ensure your horse gets all the essential vitamins and minerals – without the calories – Livery Mix is just the job for helping to keep tubby horses and ponies trim.”
Livery Mix contains micronised barley, alfalfa pellets, micronised maize and peas as well as vitamins and minerals.
Livery mix costs £7.99. It is also available in “Livery Pencils” for £7.40
