The Pony Club’s interactive website “PonyPrep” has been short-listed for two E-Learning awards.
The website was launched at Olympia Horse Show last December and more than 1,000 users signed up in the first 48 hours. Since then more than 54,000 visitors have used the site.
PonyPrep aims to help Pony Club members improve their horsemanship skills.
It offers information taken from the Pony Club’s The Manual of Horsemanship and is aimed at 12- and 13-year-old children taking their C efficiency test, and has quizzes, games and videos.
PonyPrep has been shortlisted for the “best learning game of the year” and “best e-learnig project securing widespread adoption”.
“We are thrilled to have been shortlisted in the two award categories” said Pony Club chairman Cherry Michell.
“PonyPrep is open for anyone to use, not just members, and during a recent visit to Kentucky I heard how our affiliated overseas branches are benefitting from it. It truly is an attribute to The Pony Club’s learning system”.
The winners of the E-Learning awards will be announced in London on 10 November.
