Rare equestrian paintings at Goodwood this summer

  • Don’t miss the opportunity to see some rare equestrian paintings in an exhibition at Goodwood this summer.

The paintings, from Goodwood’s private collection, include the work of George Stubbs, who spent nine months painting at the West Sussex estate in 1759, and John Wootten’s images of hunters.

The exhibition runs from 1 August-30 September at Goodwood House.

Tickets cost £9.50, including a tour of the house’s stables, but concessions are available.

    Tel: 01243 755022.

The exhibition comes hot on the heels of one of the highlights of the Goodwood calendar — the Glorious meeting (26-30 July). Tickets start at £15. Visit www.goodwood.co.uk or tel 01243 755022
