A new course and a new fixture have been added to the point-to-point calendar.
Whitcliffe Grange point-to-point course in Ripon, Yorks, opened for business last month and its first meeting, on 27 March, was organised by the Badsworth and Bramham Moor.
The track, owned by Lord Zetland and formerly the training gallops of the late Peter Calver, was completed for the 2009-10 season, but remained unused due to bad weather.
And the south-east has got a new point-to-point fixture for this season.
The Countryside Alliance (CA) and Crawley and Horsham hunt are hosting the meet on Saturday, 30 April at Parham in West Sussex.
A substantial percentage of the profits will go to assist local hunts, who put on meetings early in the season at a loss.
