British Eventing’s board of directors has elected a new chairman, Amanda Ratcliffe.
Ms Ratcliffe has competed for 15 years and evented up to CCI**** and has also set up her own market research and PR company.
“It is a great honour to be elected chairman within a sport from which I have gained so much as an amateur rider,” she said.
“I look forward to giving something back. I believe that my previous experience on the board, plus my perspective as an event rider in addition to my business experience will be of great benefit to the company and the sport in this country.”
Ms Ratcliffe takes over from Alex Fox, who retired from the post last November.
