Top international showjumper
Oki Doki dies

  • Top international showjumper Oki Doki has died.

The 14-year-old Dutch-bred gelding injured a tendon during competition in Cannes last month and was recovering well from surgery, but developed complications last night (Tuesday 20 July).

Okidoki was attended by a vet and then taken to Bern Clinic, but died of “septic shock in the abdomen”.

The horse, famous for his partnership with former owner/rider Albert Zoer, was sold to Argentinian Jose Larocca earlier this year.
