BSJA training event pulls in the crowds

  • More than 750 people visited Towerlands Park in Braintree, Essex on Tuesday (17 November) to watch two of the world’s top show jumpers share their expertise at a British Show Jumping Association (BSJA) training event.

The crowds were treated to demonstrations from the former European show jumping champion and 2009 Team GBR rider, Peter Charles, and Billy Twomey who is one of Ireland’s leading international riders.

The day gave spectators an insight into their personal training techniques, working with seven of Britain’s most notable talents — Dan Neilson, Tim Page, Joe Davison, Graham Lovegrove, Nicole Pavitt, Paul Barker and James Billington.

BSJA chairman of training Katrina Moore said: “It’s fantastic to see so many people supporting the event and taking such an active interest in our training programmes.

“We look forward to building on this event for next year, and would like to thank everybody who made it possible, especially Peter and Billy.”
