Farewell to Quorn follower Joan Crosfield

  • One of the most popular Quorn followers for over 50 years has died, aged 86.

Joan Crosfield owned one of the Quorn’s most famous coverts, Cream Gorse in the Friday country.

She and her husband, the late Capt Eric Crosfield, a joint-master of the Quorn in the 1960s, lived at Ashby Pastures and were generous hosts to many visitors.

Her funeral was held in Gaddesby Parish Church on 23 July.
