Staffordshire horse owners warned after second break in

  • Police in Staffordshire are further warning horse owners in the area to be vigilant after nearly £8,000 worth of equipment was stolen last week.

Last Wednesday H&H reported that £1,600 worth of equipment was stolen, including clippers, feed supplements and equine painkillers, from a property in Shareshill on Monday 27 July.

And overnight on Tuesday 28 July and Wednesday 29 July a further £6,000 worth of tack and equipment was stolen, this time from a property in Wheaton Aston.

Nine sets of Zilco and Walsh American trotting harnesses, an Equissage horse roller, three saddles and three hunter bridles were taken.

Officers believe the thefts might be linked.

Anyone with any information should call Staffordshire Police on 03001234455.
