Participants are geeing up to break the Guinness world record for most entries in a two-person pantomime animal race.
Oh yes they are.
Teams of five – trainer, groom, owner and front and back end of the horse – will take part in The Royal Sun Alliance Pantomime (RSA) Pantomime Horse Derby at Royal Windsor Racecourse on 4 July to raise money for Breast Cancer.
They hope to raise more than £10,000 for Breast Cancer.
This will be the second RSA Pantomime Horse Derby – last year’s raised £18,000 for the same charity.
Samantha Gold, of Breast Cancer Campaign, said: “We are always looking for new ways to increase our fundraising and this event just shows that a little bit of imagination goes a long way.”
RSA’s Clare Sheikh said: “This is a team building event with a difference, a celebration of British eccentricity, where the emphasis is firming on having fun and raising money for a good cause.”
Registration is £575 per team and spectator tickets are available.
