Polish driver fined for transporting a horse in his car


  • A driver in Poland has been fined for travelling with an unusual passenger.

    Hieronim Kapuscinski’s was reprimanded by the police after they spotted a foal in the back of his Fiat Uno.

    According to the Austrian Times the horse was being transported 150miles from a livestock market near Warsaw back to Mr Kapuscinski’s farm in the north of the country.

    Police caught up with the car when it broke down in a layby.

    Mr Kapuscinski was fined £50 for inappropriate use of a car and the foal was confiscated until a proper trailer could come and pick it up.
