Express Eventing videos: riders talk about the challenge ahead

    • This weekend will see 20 of the world’s top riders going head-to-head in a brand new type of arena eventing with £100,000 going to the winning rider.

    The competition will take place in the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff and will kick off with dressage to music. The jumping will be two-phase, with the show jumping followed by a “pit-spot” where riders can change their tack and put on their cross-country kit, before heading off around the cross-country phase which will include banks, ditches and water.
