Olympic Games doping tribunal results postponed by FEI

  • The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) has extended the time taken to reach a decision in the doping allegations against Olympic show jumpers Denis Lynch and Bernardo Alves and dressage rider Courtney King, for further investigation.

The FEI will make a decision on the show jumpers’ cases before 30 September and before 15 September in Ms King’s case.

The second sample from another Olympic show jumper, Rodrigo Pessoa’s horse Rufus, has tested positive for the banned substance nonivamide.

Hearings involving Mr Pessoa and two further Olympic show jumpers — Christian Ahlmann and Tony Andre Hansen — will take place on 25 and 26 September.
