Richard Davison is British dressage team captain

  • Richard Davison, H&H columnist and team dressage rider, has been appointed World Class Performance Programme (WCPP) team captain for the senior dressage team.

Davison will work with WCPP dressage manager David Trott in preparation for, and during, the 2008 Olympics in Hong Kong. He will manage the team, with responsibility for organisation and motivation, but will not be involved with team selection.

Richard said: “There are some amazing combinations at the top of our sport at the moment. They will be extremely busy over the next few months and I will make their journey as easy as possible.”
