Oliver Townend retains a significant lead at the head of the H&H advanced eventing league, over William Fox-Pitt and Lucinda Fredericks.
Oliver picked up 42 points at Aston-le-Walls last week, thanks to a second place on Golden Hue and a third on Jackson d’Allez, to increase his total to 250 points.
William has shortened the gap between first and second to 48 points after being awarded 70 BE points for two firsts and a second at the same event.
A number of events in the H&H advanced eventing league have been hit by the recent wet weather, with Rolleston, Eglington, Auchinleck and Hartpury International all cancelled. The next event in the series is the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe this weekend, where William has the chance to further reduce Oliver’s lead.
