Pony European Championships

  • Britain’s pony show jumpers have been drawn last of 10 nations in this afternoon’s team competition at the pony European Championships in Freudenberg, Germany.

Pippa Allen (Spot The Lady), Jordan Whitaker (Edsilia), James Smith (My Nice Guy) and Zoe Adams (VIP Tixylix) will jump in this order in the two-round class starting at 11am GMT. These European Championship first-timers are trying to retain the title won by Britain last year.

Because this is also the second individual qualifer, fifth squad member Emma Stoker (Trefilan Talisman) will also jump in both rounds. She has been drawn second to go this morning and will hope to improve on yesterday’s 14 faults. The other British riders are all on zero scores individually.
