Jamie Atkinson wins Burgie Horse Trials

  • Jamie Atkinson walked away with his first three-day win in the Malcolm Group CCI** class at Burgie last weekend on High Times.

Nini French finished second riding Be My Guest II, ahead of Caroline Powell with The Ginger Fox. Stanley Brown was fourth under Paddy Muir, ahead of his full brother Stanhopes Tokalosh, ridden and owned by High Times’s owner Lucy Holliday.

The Malcolm Group CCI* was equally exciting, with Christine Hardinge and Pembridge Swingtime winning over Hayden Hankey and Fernhill Fearless. Paddy Muir added to her two-star success by finishing third on her home-bred Peggy Brown.
