Elvaston Castle Equestrian Centre in Derby is throwing a garden party on 7 July to celebrate 25 years in business.
Elvaston Castle Equestrian Centre partner Peter Coe said: I have been blessed to have met so many wonderful clients, staff, and students. In return I would like to invite anyone connected to the centre, past or present, to join us at the party. It will be great to see everyone again, to reminisce and show them the new set-up.
Hundreds of riders every week have passed through the gates of the examination and training centre, approved by both the British Horse Society and Association of British Riding Schools. Many clients have attended the centre for more than 10 years, and two have been attending since its first week of business.
Five years ago the business was downsized after three of the four partners retired. This allowed the remaining partner, Mr Coe, to teach some of the lessons himself.
He said, I am very happy with the way our business has progressed and love being more personally involved with the teaching of clients again.
The centre used to host nationally affiliated qualifying competitions in dressage, horse trials and cross-country. It still has a commitment to running a summer evening programme for local riders and school clients.
If you would like to attend the party write to Peter at Elvaston Castle Equestrian Centre, Thulston, Derby, DE72 3EP.
