More than 130 grooms have already signed up for membership of the embryonic British Grooms Association (BGA).
BGA founder Lucy Katan said she was delighted with the response since the launch of the organisation at Badminton on 3 May (news, 15 March) but urged more grooms to sign up.
In the first seven days, we had 110. Its a great start but we need more, she said. This is peoples one chance at representation and we all need to pull together to make it work.
Annual BGA membership including preferential rates for personal accident insurance costs £17.50.
