New grand prix horse for Vicki Thompson


  • Former Olympic team dressage rider and national champion Vicki Thompson has a new grand prix horse.

    The horse, an 11-year-old Hanoverian gelding called Papillon, was owned by Tony and Sarah Pidgley and is currently in training in Germany with German dressage supremo Johann Hinnemann.

    Vicki is based at Oldencraig Equestrian Centre in Surrey with her fianc, Ian Winkfield, who confirmed that Papillon would be coming out at grand prix level later this year.
