The most recent international dressage, show jumping and eventing competitions can now be watched online at www.eqtvonline.com. Viewers need to have access to broadband internet but do not have to pay to watch the programmes.
An interview with show jumper Barry Dove, who won at the Zwolle International Horse Show, last weekend’s FEI World Cup qualifier at s’Hertogenbosch and the Festival of Eventing will all be available to watch on eqtvonline. “Anything the BBC isn’t covering we’ll try and do,” said the website’s Beverley Smit.
Visitors to the site can already view a training session with Michael Peace, the Dressage Nationals and footage from last year’s Hickstead.
According to Beverley, watching top level competition has helped her riding improve. “If you regularly expose yourself to good competition it does raise your game – its very informative,” she told HHO.
