South-west winter regional dressage championships


  • Matthew Frost headed both the Biotal Equine Gold Medium Open on Tyson and the Teviot Elementary Open with Flyaway Wish at Kingston Maurward.

    Pippa Drew also won two classes, heading both the Speedi-Beet Advanced Medium and Albion Medium Music on Prince Charming II.

    Jacky Stolper and Pippa Prideaux’s Geisha took the NAF Prix St Georges Music from Lizzie Murray and Catherston Springsteen, while Claire Speer won the Nupafeed Advanced Medium Music with Sheepcote World Of Optimism.

    The Blue Chip Novice Restricted went to Olivia Ayrton and Donni Doo, while Josephine Eley claimed the novice open on Nibeley Union Jack. Suzy Homewood triumphed in the elementary restricted with Paddy’s Patron.

    Debra Fews and Dile Que No headed the Equissage Elementary Music, finishing ahead of Martin Schleidier and Gutsherr II, who won the Baileys Horse Feeds Novice Music.

    Becky James, 23, took the medium restricted with Westhills Wreann, while Emma Maisey, 19, won the Elevator Prelim on Bogelys Corporal.
