Without a doubt the most glamorous competition in the horse sport of showjumping — if not the entire equestrian sporting calendar — the Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) brings together the top showjumpers in the FEI world rankings to jump off in exclusive venues in cities all round the world.
The brainchild of former Olympic showjumper Jan Tops, the LGCT is the world’s most lucrative five-star showjumping event.
The series is a favourite among celebrity equestrian enthusiasts — rockstar Bruce Springsteen and Microsoft magnate Bill Gates have both been spotted at events, cheering along their respective showjumping offspring Jessica Springsteen and Jennifer Gates.
For those who can afford it, the VIP hospitality is said to be excellent!
The London leg will take place on 7-9 August in 2026 and the London GCT tickets are already on sale.
